Transforming Education: Metrobank Foundation and Northern Bukidnon State College Unite for Groundbreaking International Conference
The Metrobank Foundation–Network of Outstanding Teachers and Educators Inc. (MBFI-NOTED), in partnership with Northern Bukidnon State College (NBSC), successfully held its 5th International Conference and National Convention at the Mallberry Suites Business Hotel, Cagayan de Oro City, in September 2025.
This year’s theme, “From Vision to Reality: Strengthening Pathways to Quality Education and Other Sustainable Development Goals,” brought together school leaders, educators, researchers, professionals, and students for meaningful discussions, knowledge sharing through paper and poster presentations, and collaborations aimed at advancing quality education and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
As partners of this significant event, Northern Bukidnon State College sent 10 participants, namely: Dr. Jovelyn Delosa, Ms. Charry Mae Grepon, Ms. Mary Ann Charmaine Tapulayan-Dumana, Ms. Noraisah Radaza, Mr. Ramer Verdejo, Ms. Ma. Cassandra R. Tubongbanua, Dr. Merlyn Mangmang, Dr. Edilyn Culajara, Ms. Charlene Bulahan, and Ms. Faisah Bacarat. One faculty member, Dr. Sheilou Ubagan, presented her Training of Trainers (TOT) Research Project during the event.
The opening ceremony last September 26, 2025, was graced with the rendition of the National Anthem and Invocation Song by the Northern Bukidnon State College Chorale, headed by Mr. Anthony Sanchez, together with Mr. Adonis Onahon. Then, an opening message by our College President, Dr. Christie Jean-Villanueva Ganiera, CESE duly represented by Dr. Jovelyn G. Delosa, Vice President for Academic Affairs.
The success of this momentous gathering was also made possible through the dedicated efforts of the technical team from our institution, namely: Mr. Kobe Quinlog, Mr. Joie Marjon Garciano, and Mr. Jonathan Quinlog, as well as the facilitation of this partnership by Ms. Charry Mae Grepon.
